Two Victims Revealed in the Ivy League School Shooting as Authorities Persist in Manhunt for Perpetrator.

Two students who died in Saturday’s mass shooting on the university campus had tributes paid to them on Monday – as a manhunt for their shooter carried on following the discharge by Rhode Island officials of the single suspect of interest in the case.

Honoring a Lost Student

Ella Cook, a second-year scholar from Alabama, was called “an amazing, stable, pious, radiant soul”, as stated by the Cathedral Church of the Advent, Birmingham, which paid tribute to her at a ceremony on Sunday.

She served as second-in-command of Brown’s division of the campus GOP group, according to the organization. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also expressed condolences on social media, remarking: “There are no words. Thinking of her family and friends, above all her mom and dad.”

The Second Victim

The second fatality was MukhammadAziz Umurzokov from Uzbekistan, from Uzbekistan in his initial year at the renowned school, according to relatives.

The victim's identification was confirmed by the foreign office of Uzbekistan.

“He was incredibly kind, funny, and smart. He harbored grand aspirations of becoming a neurosurgeon and helping people,” his sister, Samira Umurzokova said in a tribute.

Officials stated on Sunday evening that a 24-year-man detained in a search at a lodging about approximately 17 miles from the university earlier in the day was set to be freed.

“We have a murderer out there,” said Rhode Island’s attorney general, Peter Neronha.

Neronha explained, “Occasionally a probe goes down a path, and then you need to change course and go in another, and that’s exactly what has happened over the last day or so.”

Public Fear

Providence’s mayor, Brett Smiley, noted: “We know that this is likely to cause new worry for our city”.

The gunman began shooting inside a room in the building on over the weekend, shooting over four dozen bullets from a handgun, a police source reported to the news agency.

Police that searched the inn found a pair of pistols and magazines when the suspect was detained, the news agency reported.

The Wounded Victims

Of the nine hurt, a single scholar was allowed to go home, stated Christina Paxson, Christina Paxson. An additional seven were in critical but stable condition, and another was critically ill, authorities stated on Sunday.
