Helicopter Spins Wildly into Palm Fronds at Well-Known California Coast
An aircraft hovering over a well-attended California shoreline suddenly began spiraling out of control, ultimately dropping height and smashing into a line of palm fronds as spectators observed.
Recordings shared on social media depict the aircraft commencing to spiral above the beach then descending near the edge of the shore, where it ends up lodged among palm trees and a steps close to the Pacific Coast highway.
Emergency Response Details
Local firefighters reported five persons were rushed to the hospital including a pair who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the crash on the weekend.
Three people on the street were harmed. Details on their condition were not yet released.
